Bring Mrs Kaur’s to your neighbourhood

Since 2006, Mrs Kaur’s has grown from a small bakery in Khan Market into a family-led bakery and café, with guests across Gurgaon and New Delhi.

We welcome conversations with investors and prospective partners who share our care for quality and hospitality. Our co-op model is a way to partner with Mrs Kaur’s without running the café yourself, day to day.

Since 2006

Where Mrs Kaur’s comes from

  • Khan Market, 2006

Mrs Kaur’s began in a very small shop in Khan Market, New Delhi, baking cookies and brownies.

  • Named for Pritam Kaur

Preet Saini founded it as a tribute to his mother, Pritam Kaur, whose hand-drawn portrait is in our logo. The family runs it today.

  • A bakery and café today

Our flagship bakery and café is on Golf Course Road, Gurgaon, with a second location on Mandi Road, Delhi. Alongside our bakery and café, we offer gifting, celebration cakes, and catering.

Every new Mrs Kaur’s carries something guests already trust. That is why we choose partners carefully, and agree with each one how their café will be run before anything begins.

What a partner would be part of

Three things guests know us for. Which of them a location carries, and in what form, is agreed for each neighbourhood.

  • Rows of croissants above milk and dark chocolate brownies on Mrs Kaur’s tissue

    The Bakery

The heart of Mrs Kaur’s: croissants, sourdough, brownies, cookies, and cakes, on a counter that is the first thing guests see.

  • A Mrs Kaur’s breakfast table with pancakes, a waffle, eggs, a croissant, and coffee on branded plates

    The Café

Breakfast, bruschetta, pasta, and coffee, served in a room where people are happy to stay a while.

  • An open navy Mrs Kaur’s gift box tied with gold ribbon, filled with brownies, bars, and cookies

    Gifting & Occasions

Gift boxes for Diwali, weddings, and corporate gifting, and celebration cakes for the days people remember.

Who we would like to hear from

There is no single profile. Investors and partners from other businesses and professions are as welcome as people from hospitality.

  • You appreciate the Mrs Kaur’s offering and would like to explore bringing it to a new location.
  • You may come from hospitality, another business, or a profession. Hospitality experience is helpful, but not required.
  • You do not need to work on the floor or manage the café day to day. Who runs operations, and how involved you would like to be, is agreed clearly before anything proceeds.
  • You have the financial capacity to support the agreed investment and operating requirements.
  • You are thinking long term, and you respect the standards that make Mrs Kaur’s consistent wherever it is.
  • You have a neighbourhood in mind, or would like to talk one through with us.

It is probably not the right fit if you are looking for a quick or guaranteed return, or for a brand you can change to suit a location.

How it works

What happens after you enquire

  1. Tell us about yourself

Send the short form below. Our team will review your enquiry and contact you to discuss the opportunity.

  2. A first conversation

A call of twenty to thirty minutes about your background, the neighbourhood you have in mind, the involvement you would prefer, and the scale of investment you are comfortable with. We talk through how a partnership with Mrs Kaur’s could work. There is nothing to prepare.

  3. Meeting, and the market

Where there is interest on both sides, we meet, ideally at our Golf Course Road flagship. We then look at the neighbourhood and any property together, on their own merits.

  4. Evaluation and written terms

Where an opportunity suits both sides, it moves to detailed evaluation. The commercial terms, the operating arrangement, and your role are then set out in writing before anyone commits.

Each step happens only when both sides want to continue. An enquiry commits neither of us to anything, and at every stage we will tell you when to expect our next reply.

Questions people ask first

Do I need hospitality or restaurant experience?

It helps, but it is not essential. We welcome investors and partners from other businesses and professions, as well as people from hospitality.

Will I need to run the café or be there every day?

No. Our co-op model does not require partners to work on the floor or to manage the café day to day. How the café is run, who is responsible for what, and how involved you would like to be are agreed clearly before anything proceeds. Whatever the arrangement, every Mrs Kaur’s works to the same recipes and standards.

Can I partner as an investor while continuing my existing work or business?

Yes, and you are welcome to enquire. The involvement that suits you, and the operating arrangements around it, are discussed and agreed with you as part of the process.

Can I enquire before I have found a property?

Yes. A conversation can start with a neighbourhood rather than a building. If you already have a property in mind, tell us about it, but please talk to us about its suitability before committing to a lease or purchase specifically for Mrs Kaur’s.

What investment is required?

It depends on the format and the location, so we do not publish a single figure. We talk about the scale of investment you are comfortable with in our first conversation, and about indicative requirements as an opportunity takes shape. Commercial terms are always set out in writing before anyone commits. Financial information and assumptions are discussed during the evaluation process. Returns are not guaranteed.

Which cities are you considering?

We consider each neighbourhood on its own merits. Tell us where you have in mind, and we will talk it through with you.

How long does the process take?

Our team will review your enquiry and contact you to discuss the opportunity. Timing depends on the proposed location and the evaluation process, so we do not set an opening date at the start.

Another question? Ask it in the form, and we will answer it when we reply.
